At Hispanic Business Association Inc, we want you to be completely satisfied with your membership. We understand that sometimes things do not work out as planned, which is why we offer a straightforward 30-day refund policy for membership fees.

Eligibility for Refund

You are eligible for a full refund of your membership fee if:

Your refund request is made within 30 days of your initial membership purchase
This is your first membership with Hispanic Business Association Inc
You have not previously received a refund from us

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to admin@explorecolumbiacounty.live with the subject line "Refund Request - [Your Name]"
  2. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your full name as registered
    • Email address associated with your membership
    • Membership tier (Starter, Professional, or Enterprise)
    • Date of purchase
    • Reason for requesting a refund (optional but helpful)
  3. Wait for confirmation - We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days
  4. Refund processing - Once approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

Refund Processing

Once your refund request is approved:

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund has been processed
  • Your membership access will be terminated upon refund approval

Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds:

Membership fees after the 30-day period has elapsed
Event tickets or workshop registrations (separate cancellation policy applies)
Donated amounts or contributions
Membership renewals after the first year (30-day policy applies only to initial purchase)

Event Cancellation Policy

For paid events and workshops:

  • Full refund if cancelled 7+ days before the event
  • 50% refund if cancelled 3-6 days before the event
  • No refund for cancellations less than 3 days before the event
  • If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund or credit for a future event

Membership Downgrades

If you wish to downgrade your membership tier instead of cancelling entirely, please contact us at admin@explorecolumbiacounty.live. We can process a downgrade and provide a prorated credit toward your new membership tier. Downgrades take effect at your next renewal date.
